Yes! It’s that time of year again!

This is our third invitation to March With the Mayor in the annual Kla Ha Ya Days Parade on Saturday Morning, July 21st — with our 60′ banner reading: “This Place Matters.”

Meet at the studio, 230 Avenue B, by 10a when we will leave with the banner to take our place in the parade. Or, you can wait for us at the Visitor’s Center, First and Avenue D, and join in as we pass by. The parade begins at 10:30a.

Wait, there is more: you’re invited to a decrompression gathering at the studio around 5p (same day) — featuring a home movie by the late Clayton Knittel, on 16mm film of Kla Ha Ya Days in the 70s! Bringing something to share is cool.

Visiting the location shooting of the indie film, “You Can’t Win” at our local house museum, Warner and I had an opportunity to meet the star and producer, Michael Pitt, along with an identified cast member who were breaking for “lunch” — the cast and crew meal break — and we accepted their invitation to join them.
