It’s the last hour of the last day for candidate filings, and all four open seats in Snohomish are unopposed. Frankly, I’m so glad as I – of course – think we have done a good job in the face of challenges. And, running a campaign is a huge effort.
I also want to welcome and congratulate Paul Kaftanski who will fill Melody Cleman’s seat. I’ve come to know Paul, and he will be a great addition to our team of community servants. Melody can rest proudly, with her 8 dedicated years, and she can now focus on bringing the old Carnegie to a new life.
